Our Services

Amashami Foundation’s objective is to support women in particular to get out of poverty through economic empowerment programmes.

The Mutoni Project
Our goal with a focus on the production of chia seeds, this project will combine the work of both refugees (70%) and local people (30%).

This farming project can continue indefinitely and increase in scope to make a lasting and impactful change in people’s lives.

Business Incubation

By supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises (SME) to empower refugees to grow their businesses, we help dreams become a reality.

We facilitate mechanisms so that urban refugees can access financing opportunities, allowing their SMEs to thrive.

How to help refugees?
By allowing them to follow their inspiration and build businesses that contribute to society while providing them with a chance to reclaim their lives. Instead of offering temporary relief, we empower refugees to make a permanent, lifelong change.

Amashami x Dittofi

Dittofi and Amashami Foundation teamed up to train the next generation of full stack software builders in Rwanda. These experts will be trained to build high-powered software solutions on Dittofi, which automatically generates a tech stack normally reserved for the well- funded elite of Silicon Valley.

No-code is a way of building software applications without having to write code by hand. Essentially it is an extension of the traditional app builders. This is fast becoming the preferred way of building software because it is cheaper, less error prone and faster. For example, Gartner predicts that 65% of all software apps will be built using no-code by 2024.

Amashami x Aflimba

The AFLIMBA X AMASHAMI project is working and intervening on the second pillar “Wage employment” of the “Strategy on Economic Inclusion of Refugees and Host communities 2021 – 2024”.

Through AFLIMBA School of Craft, AFLIMBA will provide sewing training to refugees who are passionate about the craft and aspire to make a living out of it. The joint work of the refugees and the local population will allow social cohesion and therefore integration into everyday life.

By allowing them to follow their inspiration and build businesses that contribute to society while providing them with a chance to reclaim their lives. Instead of offering temporary relief, we empower refugees to make a permanent, lifelong change.
